This year Elizabeth Solich’s funky, quirky, colour filled ocean themed calendar for 2023 will be supporting the Edithburgh and Wool Bay Marine Watch project.

Purpose and Mission:

Marine Watch was launched by passionate divers Elizabeth Solich and Paul Macdonald.

Its goal is to monitor algal blooms and broader ecological health at Edithburgh and Wool Bay Jetties.

The project aims to raise awareness, support habitat recovery, and engage the public in marine conservation.

Activities and Monitoring:

Volunteers and divers collect data on marine life, water quality, and algal growth.

Regular monitoring events are held, with upcoming sessions scheduled from November 2025 through January 2026.

The initiative also includes public outreach and education, encouraging community involvement.
