Description
Like Bees To Honey (2023)
By Elizabeth Solich, oil on canvas
The green sap sucking sea slugs feed only on the green seaweed but the coastal nutrient pollution makes the water green; it can even kill native seaweeds and encourage the growth of pest species. The aquatic plant proliferation is an environmental scourge resulting in extensively undesirable growth of aquatic plants and algae. These weeds not only invade waterways and irrigation channels and imped economic operation; the proliferation of aquatic plants such as Caulerpa taxifolia is causing taking over the habitat and its not preferred as a food source by grazers puting them at denger of starvation
